Our Electrical Vehicle Charging Station Installation Services
We make plugging in your car no different than plugging your toaster or other appliance into the wall. For level 1 charging, you can use the same three-prong plug used by consumer appliances. What you do need is a dedicated branch circuit for the outlet. This is crucial because, without it, you will experience frequent breaker trips if you attempt to put it on the same circuit as a refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine, dishwasher, etc.
- Level 1 EVSE charging stations are a good start, but they can only add between 2 and 5 miles of driving range for every hour of charging time. It's reliable but slow and usually requires an overnight charge.
- Level 2 EVSE charging stations are an upgraded option that offers faster, more efficient electric vehicle charging. These systems use a 240V dedicated circuit that is typically installed in your garage but can be installed in the driveway. Depending on your vehicle, this can add between 10 to 60 miles of driving range per hour of charging. It's fast, convenient, and efficient.
